The course consists of two distinct parts: Care itinerary: Develop, implement, ensure and evaluate the follow-up of care itineraries The analysis of complex situations (follow-up of the SANT4028-1 course): The advanced practice seminars-complex situations of the M2 consist in developing a project for the implementation of a solution, in connection with the field problem that the student has brought out from his analysis of a complex situation of the advanced practice seminars I (SANT4028-1), based on research and reflection.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

At the end of this teaching unit, the student will be able to:

Care itinerary:

Evaluate a clinical situation centered around the patient
Develop goals and interventions in a care itinerary based on scientific research, patient expectations and their characteristics
Design a nursing care project by describing all the elements of the care process, taking into account the analysis of the processes, the planning of the care as well as the procedures and therapeutic protocols.
Take into account the complexity and specificity of situations
Coordinate the process and the roles of the members of the interdisciplinary team involved in the care itinerary, including the patient and his entourage
Identify obstacles and resources specific to the patient or group of patients
Objectively assess the impact of the various interventions and the achievement of objectives
Propose adjustments depending on the situation
Distinguish care itineraries from personalized care plans, care protocols, care pathways, etc. and integrate these different tools into a global clinical approach
Analysis of complex situations:

- Propose relevant solutions to a problem resulting from the reflection posed on the analysis of a complex clinical situation (block 1)

- Choose a solution appropriately and validate your choice by reflecting on the context and using research.

- Apply the project management methodology.

- Mobilize the general knowledge of the Master in Nursing Sciences and more specifically the skills of an IPA nurse to put in place adapted and lasting solutions responding to the problems encountered in complex situations

-Present a project in a structured and convincing way.


- To take some distance from an ideal.
