Learning unit contents

Introduction to theories of cognitive aging. Illustration of changes du to aging in the domains of memory, langage, attention,... Critical approach of cognitive rehabilitation in normal aging.

Acquisition of knowledge in the domain of cognitive functioning during normal aging

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Basic knowledges in cognitive and language psychology.

Additional information:

30H, 2 hours per week of ex-cathedra (7 weeks).

The remaining 15 hours will consist of a written assignment to be handed in by the student before the exam

Additional information:

Written evaluation. The procedures of examination for ERASMUS student are similar to the ones for ULiege students.

Access to the written examination is conditional on the submission of the written work by the due date (to be indicated during the first course).

The final mark will include the mark of the written examination and the mark of the report to be submitted.
