Learning unit contents

This course is a seminar. In this semainar we will analyse organization, apply concepts and thories. We will describe and analyse the type of orgnization and present problems and solutions.
By research and applications of concepts and theories, the student improve the knowledge of organisation, his capacity of research and analyse.
The analysis of one organization allows to precise hypothesis about culture, stratégie, type of configuration, type of rationality, formel/informel, autority/power, form of leadership, type of communication, of collaboration, division of work and departementalisation

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Objectives:The objectives of the course are: - To Understand the concepts to analyse the organizations - To Compare, to analyse different theories - To apply different concepts and different theories at the situations of the enterprise - To apply steps of research: questions, hypothesis, context, research information - To be situated in organizational and institutional context and purpose solutions for the different situations-analyse scientific atricles-To compare his opinions and the opinion of the others-To explain critical aspects ans critical judgment. - To work in small groups -

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Planned learning activities and learning events are face to face presentations, interactives methods, participative and production methods:
- To organize the groups (take decision)
- To research information (exploration)
- Each group choices one organization (analyse and take decision)
- Repartition of the activities (take decision, negociation)
- To choice one analysis method (exploration, comparaison, analysis)
- To define hypothesis
- to construct on interview grill and observation grill (production)
- To collect information (exploration and take decision)
- To select theories
- To research one scientific article (exploration) and to analyze
- To analyse information
- Writing report or other form (exploration, production, research)
- Presentation eventually of problem and research of solutions.
- Team work
- Auto-evaluation of the participation in the groupe
- Présentation orale de l'analyse
