The second part presents contributions and debates in psycholinguistics and cognitive linguistics concerning acquisition, learning and teaching of languages, arriving at principles and options in the didactic of languages.
The third part is devoted to communicative and sociolinguistic conditions of acquisition, learning and teaching of languages, including context of use, norms and variants, and the status of a language and its functions, in particular in a plurilinguistic context.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

This course is an "oral" course, which involves:

  • the interactions between the teacher and the students, and between the students during the course, go beyond memorizing syllabus and reading books for final evaluation;
  • the active presence in the course in order to benefit from and participate in these exchanges is therefore essential;
  • that the professor will develop the course based on student reactions or any other circumstances that he will consider significant during the course, so that the details of the final evaluation cannot be determined at the beginning.
Except in exceptional cases duly examined, there is no provision for an alternative programme or exemption from this course.

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)
