Further information:
Written report to be submitted during the session for the two compulsory seminars. Students will have time at the end of each seminar to write their report. They may use a laptop, if available, using only a word processor and without Internet access. The use of a spelling and grammar checker is strongly recommended.
No computers will be provided. Students without a laptop will write their report by hand and may consult their French dictionary and/or grammar book.
For the three other seminars (of their choice), a written report must be submitted no later than the first day of the examination session. For each seminar, the report must include a summary (minimum 3,000, maximum 3,500 characters, excluding spaces) and a critical personal opinion of at least 1,500 characters, excluding spaces.
The final grade is the weighted average of the seminar reports: compulsory seminars completed during the sessions account for 70%, and elective seminars for 30%. Passing the learning activity requires passing both the seminars written in class AND those written at home.
A grade below 10/20 may be improved during the second examination session on the basis of new reports corresponding to new compulsory seminars (one written during the examination session and the other at home).
Plagiarism (of another student's report) constitutes a failing criterion. The use of artificial intelligence to write the report is prohibited.
