Learning unit contents
The course is divided into two parts: theoretical and thematical perspectives. The first is dedicated to the presentation of key theories and concepts in the anthropology of health. The second section implies the presentation and discussion of several scientific articles by the students, around current thematics in the anthropology of health.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The aim of the course is to provide students with theoretical and methodological tools to analyse practices and discourses around health from an anthropological perspective. At the end of the course, they will have to be able to mobilise these tools for studying various health issues.

Students are required to take notes, read texts actively and critically, present their readings and guide a debate in the classroom.
