Attending class, working regularly (reading, exercises, etc.) and taking an active part in class are essential to the success of this teaching unit. All absences must be duly justified (medical certificate; failing this, justification to be accepted at the discretion of the supervisors). After 2 unjustified absences, the student will not be allowed to sit the exam.
The use of artificial intelligence is prohibited in the assessment work for this EU, with the exception of its use as a language assistant, i.e. as an aid for linguistic correction (spelling check, synonym search, etc.) of texts you have written. This is the only type of assistance permitted and is comparable to existing spelling and grammar checkers.
By 'AI', we mean ChatGPT-type conversational agents, as well as any other tool that incorporates AI, with the exception of search engines.
The teacher reserves the right to call the student to an oral examination, the mark of which will constitute the final mark. This examination will be aimed solely at assessing the student's personal mastery of the subject and the resources and tools used. The time slot for this possible oral examination will be announced in the examination schedule. The student concerned will be notified as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours before the examination.
Grades communicated via the eCampus gradebook are for information only, pending deliberation.
