The internship provides students with the opportunity to engage directly with the professional sector of the performing arts (cinema, theatre, dance, video, television, opera, etc.). Lasting 180 hours, it consists of a learning period supervised by an internship mentor who must, either personally or on behalf of a legally recognized organization (independent entity, private company, public company, non-profit association, etc.), represent an official institution. The internship constitutes a full component of the university curriculum and enables students to gain practical training in the professions of performing arts, audiovisual creation, or the organization of cultural events related to these various fields.

Written work / report
Further information:
Students are required to write an internship report of 10 to 15 pages (excluding appendices). This report will serve as the sole basis for the final evaluation. The report will be assessed according to the following weighting (out of 20 points):
- Critical perspective, argumentation, coherence and structure of the text, relevance of the analysis, richness of commentary: /12
- Work completed: /3
- Quality of writing, spelling, style, adherence to guidelines: /5
The report consists of three parts:
a) A copy of the internship commitment form.
b) A description of the host organization, its structure, and the program or event in which the student completed the internship, as well as a detailed account of the work performed by the intern (including a daily program description).
c) A personal analysis and evaluation of the internship, subdivided into three sections, with a minimum length of five pages:
- First section: Analysis of the host organization, program, or event in which the student completed the internship (functioning, organization, etc.), including possible suggestions for improvement (minimum 1 page).
- Second section: Self-evaluation (minimum 1 page).
- Third section: Analytical reflection linking concepts, knowledge, skills, or theories addressed in at least one other course within the student's Master's program in Performing Arts (minimum 1 page).
Important note: Failure to follow the three-part structure outlined above, or an excessive number of spelling or grammatical errors (>10), will result in a grade of 0.
In the event of a non-creditable failure, the student will be required to submit a revised version of the report during the second session or the first session of the following academic year. In such cases, the internship itself does not need to be repeated.
