Hellenistic and post-Hellenistic philosophy.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
This course aims give the student a basic knowledge of both Hellenistic and Post-Hellenistic Philosophy.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Reference is made to Greek and Latin terms, but no knowledge of ancient languages is required. However, it is highly recommended that the student has previously taken the course The History of Ancient Philosophy (PHIL0009-1) in Q1.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Every lesson will be a mixture of both a lecture and a collective reading and discussion of major texts.
