Learning unit contents

This course provides advanced elements of pharmacology and toxicology from a theoretical and practical point of view. The different contributions of pharmacology and toxicology to the drug discovery and evaluation process are discussed.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

At the end of the course, students will need to have a global view of the drug development process and of the importance of pharmacology and toxicology for the evaluation of drugs before they are placed on the market.

Classes of general pharmacology (pharmacokinetic) and toxicology.
