Learning unit contents

Introduction to the autofictional genre in hispanic literature. Study of novels and short stories writen by some spanish-american modern and contemporean writers.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

This course invites the students to read and understand autofictional texts. The student will be able to approach himself to the texts as complex constructions of reality. He will also learn to know the oeuvre of some important spanish-american contemporary writers.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Good knowlegde of Spanish (C1) and of the concepts of literary theory.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Classes with active participation by the students. This participation will be taken into account for the final note of the student.
