Getting further in everyday's language, culture and business during 1st semester. Main focus on press articles' reading, discussion (giving his own opinion) and writing during 2nd semester.

Work on vocabulary and the latest grammar points during the first term.

In the second term, listening and reading exercises (newspaper articles, videos) on the Italian regional economy.



Oral exercices: a compulsory personal presentation about Italian's regions and their main companies is planned for the 2nd term.

Introducing Italy's history, political and economic life.

In the 2nd term, weekly preparation of course materials: projection of slides to present each region, reading of a recent article focusing on an economic sector/company in a region, viewing of videos on an economic sector/company in a region. The material will be available on Lol@.

Two exams are planned along the year:

January
- Written and oral exam (3h) based on grammar and vocabulary, reading comprehension, listening, writing and speaking. Each skill is worth 20% of the mark. This exam will count for the 50% of the final score.

June
- Written and oral exam (3h) based on the eLAO test (15%), reading comprehension (15%), listening (15%), writing (15%), speaking pt. 1 (presentation, 20%), speaking pt. 2 (question on the different regional economies, 20%). This exam will count for the other 50% of the final score.

N.B.: The eLAO test is scheduled in June outside the written exam. The results will be weighted as follows:

A1 = 1/20

A1.25 = 2/20

A1.50 = 3/20

A1.75 = 3/20

A2 = 4/20

A2.25 = 5/20

A2.50 = 6/20

A2.75 = 7/20

B1 = 8/20

August (second session)
- Written and oral exam (3 hours) based on the following skills: grammar and vocabulary (15%), reading comprehension (15%), listening comprehension (15%), written expression (15%), speaking pt. 1 (presentation, 20%), speaking pt. 2 (question on the different regional economies, 20%). The exam will be based on the whole programme (1st + 2nd semester) and marks from the two previous sessions will not be taken into account.

IMPORTANT! An unjustified absence from the compulsory presentation will automatically result in a 2nd term attendance mark and the entire exam being taken in the second session. Please therefore ensure you attend on the chosen date.
If speaking 1 is passed in Q2 but the examination as a whole is not passed, the presentation mark will remain unchanged in the second session.

N.B.: Decimals will be rounded by default between 0 and 5, by excess between 6 and 9.
Example: average of 12.5 > 12 // average of 12.6 > 13
