Learning unit contents
The course focuses on various aspects of the history of architecture in Wallonia and Brussels in the XIXe and XXe centuries. Wherever possible, buildings are studied on the spot. Several excursions are planned. In order to introduce students to the tools of research in architectural history, a lesson is organized at the GAR-Archives d'architecture (Faculty of Architecture). After the subject was introduced by the teacher, students make presentations and distribute concise syllabi (one week before the lesson). Both are subject to critical debate.

Organisational remarks and main changes to the course
Introductory Courses ex cathedra and lessons by about twenty students, followed by discussions. Excursions and trips are planned.
