The course aims to trace the major stages in the evolution of visual arts (architecture, painting, sculpture and music) from the Prehistory to the Late Antiquity. Emphasis is placed on the relationship between artistic creation, conceptions of the world and historical context. the available data are diffrente following the periods, like the chronological scales

Ex cathedra course, organised by Thomas Morard (coordinator) and given with others teachers-researchers (Damien Flas, Imane Achouche, Dimitri Laboury, Thomas Morard et Mathilde Kaisin).
This course will take place every week from Friday 19 September 2025, in line with the schedule which has been established (Fridays noon to 14pm / Salle Grand Physique). No breaks are planned during the class.
