Course 2 (3h) : Process and System Assessment Tools
- Presentation of the tools: ISO, EMAS, environmental audit, carbon footprint, etc.
- Illustrations with company examples
Course 3 (3h) : Process and system assessment tools (continued)
- Continuation of the presentation of the tools
- Presentation of the interview questionnaire to be conducted in the company (used in the course evaluation)

- Presentation of life cycle assessments, environmental footprint, ecolabels, etc.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The course aims to develop a good understanding of how a company can approach the environmental assessment of its operations and activities, based on its own objectives and constraints and knowing the different assessment tools available, as well as the existing legal constraints.

Students will be asked, in small groups, to meet in a company in order to complete an evaluation questionnaire based on the material presented in the course.

The assessment will consist of two parts: the company interview for 1/4 and a written exam for 3/4. The theoretical knowledge elements required for the exam will be specified throughout the course; the exam will include a knowledge part and a case study part.
