Learning unit contents
After a brief historical review of the main developments in the anthropology of the environment, we will examine the toolkit that it provides for analysing interactions between humans and their environment. We will then mobilise these tools to study various contemporary environmental issues.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The aim of the course is to provide students with theoretical and methodological tools to analyse current environmental issues from an anthropological perspective. At the end of the course, they will have to be able to use these tools for studying various themes.
