Learning unit contents

After a brief review of the history of anthropology of developpement, we will examine the tools it provides for analysing development policies. We will then mobilise these tools to study various themes in the anthropology of development.
 

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The objective of the course is to give students tools to develop an anthropological approach to development policies. At the end of the course, they must be able to use these tools for analyzing these policies and their consequences.
