Learning unit contents
*Introduction to the intangible cultural heritage (ICH): definition, history and presentation of the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Heritage and its implementation in Belgium and other countries (in accordance with ERASMUS students' origins)
*PCI contents: languages/ songs/ legends/ music/ dance/ puppets theatre/ festivals/ games/ devoutness/ social practices and traditional knowledges (handycrafts/ alimentation/ healing).
*Reflexion on the values attached to ICH and on the role of institutions, researchers, audio-visual media, museums and publications in raising awareness about ICH, transmission and mediation.
*Methodology to conduct field inquiries.

To know its potential implementations and everyone's role in its transmission and safeguarding
