Learning unit contents
IMPORTANT: students will receive 5 credits only if they are formally accepted by ESA (students should send an application) and if they participate in the course. Students should thus apply well in advance, ideally in June or over the summer, to be sure to be accepted by the Fall. The PAE should be established by taking into account the fact that the application could be rejected by ESA and that the 5 credits will not be obtained if this is the case.
Through its training and learning programme, the ESA Academy in Redu (ESEC, Belgium) https://www.esa.int/Education/ESA_Academy offers a series of courses dedicated to space technology. Undergraduate students from universities across Europe are eligible to participate. At ULiège, the AERO0034 course provides students with the opportunity to take part in these ESA Academy courses.
Important: Students will be awarded 5 credits only if they are formally accepted by ESA (following submission of an application) and if they actively participate in the course. Applications should therefore be submitted well in advance, ideally in June or during the summer, to maximize the chances of acceptance before the Fall. When preparing their PAE, students must take into account that their application may be rejected by ESA, in which case the 5 credits will not be granted.
