Learning outcomes of the learning unit
Learning how to monitor a normal pregnancy Learning how to screen for pre-existing maternal pathologies that could interfere with the course of pregnancy and the means of monitoring to be implemented to avoid incidents Learning how to screen for pathologies appearing during pregnancy, both on the maternal side and on the fetal side, and the therapeutic options required Learning the path from symptom to diagnosis and from diagnosis to management of a gestational pathology
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
This course follows the learning of normal humans and general principles of pathology in the Genital Module (SEXL0120) in BAC Medicine. The Gynecological Pathologies and Urological Pathologies course are ideally co-required, as are the internships and clinical reasoning training in the first semester of block 1 of the master's degree.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
This teaching is multidisciplinary. It includes a majority of theoretical courses, supplemented by sessions of practical activities such as Apprenticeship in Clinical Reasoning or clinical teaching, often in smaller groups. The courses are included under another course code and complete the learning of diagnosis with an approach centered on the patient and her baby
