Learning unit contents

During DD partim II , lessons and practical exercises will continue to explore the issues raised in DD partim I and will address the following questions:
How can students be tested on the appropriateness of competency-based learning in the biological sciences? How can we establish contacts and exchanges with players close to the school environment who can help students and teachers in the practice of their profession?
How can we broaden our training to build our profession? How to approach a science-based school outing with science students; the origins of scientific knowledge and its development; how to take part in continuing education.
How do you develop a specific methodology for teaching science to technical and professional audiences?
What image do we give of science? What are its values? What kind of ethics? How can we train responsible citizens? How can we approach EVRAS and QSV (socially relevant issues)?

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The objectives pursued in DD part I are maintained and the specific objectives of this second part are as follows:

- To encourage future teachers to reflect on their epistemological and didactic positions

- Establish links between these and student learning and the construction of their professional identity

- Take a step back from the teaching profession, know how to listen to students and be able to call on those close to the school to pass on the baton

- learn to go beyond the traditional school format and dare to visit places outside the school with pupils.
