Units courses prerequisite and corequisite

Prerequisite or corequisite units are presented within each program

Learning unit contents

Analyses of movements and articulary constraints of the limbs including the muscular and articulary testing.
In coordination with the anatomy course, this course analyses the movements of articulations and focuses on range of motion and muscular testing. It studies the constraints undergone by the various articulations.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Know the functioning of the joints of the human body.

To provoke a reflection on the mechanisms and safety of human movements.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Basic notions of experimental Physics in kinesitherapy and physical education including the mathematical introduction to the applied sciences (1st year)
Biomechanics (partim I: 1st year)

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Practical works of Biomechanics are in a separated module (LOCO0002).

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

Face-to-face course
