Learning unit contents

The transdisciplinary project (PTE) offers the opportunity to students to conduct, by pairs, a project in a company during the whole academic year of their Master 3. This transdisciplinary project can encompass many organizational subjects such as new organizational strategies, new HR policies, labor market adaptations, new regulations or laws, the adoption of a new management tools or information system, changes in social dialogues, transitions towards new infrastructures, etc. This seminar, organized during the first semester, aims to support students and provide them with guidance in the conduct of an organizational diagnosis, the design of their projects, and the conception of solutions or recommendations adressed to their internship company.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

- Conduct an in-depth organizational diagnosis of the social and organizational components of a concrete problem/project;

- Challenge this diagnostic with the feedback of field actors;

- Design an action plan and solution proposals in response to a given problem. 

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Advanced knowledge of organization theory and human resources management as taught in Master courses. 

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

An internship of approximately 2 days/week on-site will be planned (60 days per student in average on the academic year).

The seminar will be designed around an introduction session to which internship supervisors are invited, a classroom session around the initial diagnostics conducted by students, and a proposition of an action plan by the students.

Additional information:

Evaluation will consist of an oral presentation of students on their organizational diagnosis and action plan proposal.
