Chronological overview, focusing on representative authors and main literary developments in medieval Flanders and Holland (1000-1600). Analysis of key texts (bilingual: Middle Dutch with full translation in modern Dutch)

To provide a framework for the study of literary texts within their proper historical context

The course is taught in Dutch. Language level required (Dutch): Intermediate (B1+)
