Learning unit contents

This course aims to study the major criminological theories, and to underline the potential use of theses theories in various empirical researches.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

- Learn the different major theories in Criminology
- Be able to stress links and interactions between those theories
- Have specific knowledge about different forms of rime

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

The course "Introduction à l'analyse du phénomène criminel" is a prerequisite or a co-requisite.

Additional information:

 

25% of the final grade will rely on a homework to be realized during the first quadrimester

75% of the finale grand will rely on a written exam, with open-ended questions and multiple choice questionnaire.
