Learning unit contents

The course comprises three compulsory modules:

Issues in the didactics of French as a first language 1 (6h)
Issues in the didactics of linguistics and non-literary discourse (12h)
Issues in the didactics of literary genres through their various learning nodes (12h)

Other modules must be chosen from among the following, for a total of 6 hours:

Issues in the didactics of French as a first language 2 (6 hrs)
Issues in the didactics of Latin 1 (3 hrs)
Issues in the didactics of Latin 2 (3 hrs)
Issues in the didactics of French as a foreign and second language 1 (3 hrs)
Questions on the didactics of French as a foreign and second language 2 (3 hrs)

Failure to attend the course will result in automatic deferral.

 

 

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

  • identify one or more learning nodes in the discipline(s) that concern him/her;
  • draw up a didactic transposition to be tested during their HE placement;
  • describe the essential didactic notions and principles in use in their discipline(s);
  • analyze a teaching resource, drawing on the theoretical insights acquired during the course.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

Minimum knowledge of the FRALA reference framework and the knowledge, skills and competencies to be acquired as part of the Common Core.

Lectures, small-group exercises, individual oral presentations by students.

Submission of a written assignment containing a detailed analysis of a didactic resource (e.g. textbooks, devices, digital tools...) based on specific elements developed in didactics courses.
