Learning unit contents

This course gives through a deep approach the main aspects of fish biology and physiology in aquaculture and the relation with fish welfare. It is dived in 4 chapters:

- Bioloogy of reproduction

-Bioenergetic

-Genetic

-Stress and fish welfare

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

At the end of this course, the student will have deep bases necessary for the comprehension of fisdh biology and physiology in an aquaculture context and in regard with the fish welfare.

Biology and chemistry, cellular biology, animal physiology

The courses (theoretical and interactive discsussion) is assumed by 1 teachers and teached in 12x3 hours parts.

Oral examination : 3 open questions will be random draw by the student. He will have 30 minutes for préparation of the answer and 30 minutes for the oral interrogation by the teacher (10 minutes by questions).

Course schelude is established by the secretary of the BEE department. Courses are dispensed in a classroom in Sart-Tilman
