Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

The course includes two parts:

  • The theoretical course of general pathology
  • Paraclinical exercises, in part in amphitheatre, in part in the necropsy room

The theoretical course is 50 hours and is given in amhitheatre.
Paraclinical exercises consist of four lessons of 90 minutes. The first lesson is given in large groups in amphitheatre and describes the general method of necropsy.

The practical part of the exam consists in an oral examination (5 minutes) after preparation (5 minutes). A different person evaluates each part of the exam (theory and practice). The first part of the exam consists of two synthesis questions (30 points each) and five definitions (10 points). The second part of the exam deals with the interpretation and the building of an adequate lesional diagnosis based on three gross pictures (10 points each, i.e. 30 points for this part of the exam). The final, global, is considered indivisible.
