Learning unit contents
This course aims to introduce students to the evaluation process in child neuropsychology: initiation to clinical reasoning in child neuropsychology, anamnesis, differential diagnosis,methodology of intellectual evaluation (including assessment of the baby and toddler, the child with selective language impairment), attentional and executive assessment, evaluation of memory capacities, assessment of social cognition, of visuo-perceptual and visuo-spatial disorders and of numerical competencies.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
He/she will need to know the main methods and tools for analyzing a request, conducting a clinical interview/history, assessing the child's cognitive abilities, and will need to know what elements to take into account when considering a performance as deficient and analyzing cognitive functioning.

This course supposes having basic knowledge in clinical neuropsychology and in developmental cognitive psychology.
