Units courses prerequisite and corequisite

Prerequisite or corequisite units are presented within each program

Learning unit contents

Reading the 3rd Critique

The course will propose a study of the first part of the Critique of the Judgment, the "critique of the faculty of aesthetic judgment". We will comment on the Kantian text and try to understand the specific problem of the "bridge" between nature and freedom, the particularities of the reflective judgment and the implementation of the concept of finality within the framework of the judgment of taste. This will lead to a broader view of the Kantian subject, taking into account the doctrine of common sense in its historico-political dimension.
