Learning unit contents
The commentary concerns a work or a part of a work selected for its linguistic and literary interest. The linguistic features are studied as closely as possible without neglecting the contents and the literary tradition.
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The aim of the learning is to understand deeply the problems connected with the commentary of a Latin text of high degree of difficulty.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Good knwoledge of Latin language and literature.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The students have to prepare a personal work (a comparison of translations) and to propose a translation of a passage studied during the lessons.
