- General overview of the Italian language and culture

- Learning basic communication 

- Basic vocabulary and grammar

- Verbal tenses: regular and irregular present tense (indicative)

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

In-person teaching:
- Interactive presentation of each situation, in order to improve the written and the oral comprehension.
- Oral exercices, situational learning and role plays, in order to improve the written and the oral expression. 
- Grammatical explanations.

Individual homework:
- Exercices, verbal tenses, grammar structures and lexicon.

Possibly buying a grammar: A.VALLE, Guide de grammaire italienne, de Boeck.

Additional information:

Two exams are planned along the year:

January
- Written exam only (2h) based on grammar, reading comprehension, listening and writing. This exam will count for the 50% of the final score.

June
- Written and oral exam (3h) based on grammar, reading comprehension, listening, writing and speaking. This exam will count for the other 50% of the final score.
