Learning unit contents
The course aims to present the pedagogical process of developing training programs based on the program approach.
It will be about discovering how, in a collective way, the competences to be developed through the training program are defined, the learning outcomes that result from it as well as the process aiming at measuring the quality of the process and the learning.
The course will be structured on the basis of the following themes :
- Program approach and teaching systems
- Competencies and competency frameworks
- Learning outcomes and competency mapping for programs
- Assurance of Learning
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
- Understand the principle of the program approach and the impact of education and teaching systems
- Understand the challenges of competency management
- Know the main steps and methodological tools related to the management and writing of competences: contextualization, identification of competences, reference systems, etc.
- Define the notion of learning outcomes, their uses and their evaluation
- Understand the issues involved in the evaluation of competencies and learning outcomes and plan its implementation
