After completing the course, the student is expected to
- develop an appropriate approach for vegetation sampling to answer a practical problem of biodiversity management
- be able to select a method to analyse vegetation in relation to a practical problem of biodiversity management
- be able to interpret a vegetation analysis with respect to environmental conditions

At the end of the teaching, the student must be able to select/propose a method to answer a research question about plant or animal population ecology. He must be able to interpret the method and results of a given study.
