This course is a first contact with architectural history;
At the end of the course, the student should demonstrate knowledge of the subject matter, the links between periods, achievements, paths, ideas, influences and developments both chronologically and in terms of the main themes that have followed one another during the period.
He/she must acquire an adequate vocabulary specific to the architectural discipline.
He/she must be able to summarize and classify concepts, to show critical analysis and ability to establish relationships between different subjects.
He/she must develop a spirit of synthesis which shows the acquisition of the subject in its complexity.
