For 5 seminars amongst those attended, we ask a critical report in the  language of the seminar. This report will have to be given or e-mailed (in pdf) to the 4 organisers at the latest on the Monday following the seminar. Each report will be graded, and will be worth 2 points.
Report format:  A template is provided in the online notes. The length of the report should be between 6500 and 7500 characters, including spaces. An additional page may be used for figures and references. Students are encouraged to use spell and grammar checkers, such as Grammarly or LanguageTools before submitting their work.
The examination will consist in a 15-minute mini-seminar, in English, worth 5 points. This mini-seminar will be based on a recent research paper (< 2 years) in astrophysics, geophysics or oceanology, which must be approved by one of the teachers two weeks before the beginning of the examination session.
For the second session, 5 reports will have to be reworked, together with an additional mini-seminar.
