PART 2 (A. Dewalque)
This part of the course is devoted to philosophical method. Its main goal is to introduce the participants to various aspects of this method such as the relation between philosophy and common sense, philosophical disputes, the clarification of terms and the method of analysis, thought experiments and the role of intuition, the comparison of competing theories, the role of history of philosophy, etc. Each aspect is illustrated by means of concrete examples.
