The thesis consists in an original research work in a domain related to the sport sciences, as well in an applied approach as in a more fundamental focus.<br /><br /> The thesis consists in an original research work in a domain related to physical activity, physical education or sport or in a more fundamental domain in relationship with biomedical modules, for example.

All courses proposed in the programme and preparing students to research.
Cours proposed by Prof. M. Cloes in the 3d grade of the Bachelor in Sport Sciences (Research methodology in sports and physical activities) as well as in two courses planned during the 1st grade of the Master in Sport Sciences (Preparatory seminars for research in sport sciences + Research questions in physical education and sports, Part I).

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

Final thesis in sciences of motricity - general approach

Students build their thesis on the exploratory work that they did with their promotor in MSM 1. They collect and process their data to be able to write the thesis not after the end of the second semester.
The student choses one promotor (logically the one which whom he/she worked during the 1st grade of the Master in Sport Sciecnes). Experimentations are planned during the whole academic year. Writing of the thesis must be ready at the end of the second semester.

Final thesis in sciences of motricity - general approach

The thesis is based on a manuscript, including the following chapters: introduction, literature, objectives, methods, results, discussion, conclusion, bibliography.
A specific policy is edited by the Study Council (see on myULg).
In June or September, the student has to present and defend his/her work in front of a Jury designated by the Study Council.
