Basic notions of probability theory: Events and probabilities, combinatorics, conditional probability and independence, discrete random variables, continuous random variables, jointly distributed random variables, limit theorems
Learning outcomes of the learning unit
The student will be able to recognize and solve elementary probabilistic problems.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Elementary computer programming.
Elementary algebra, elementary calculus.
