Learning unit contents

The course will focus this year on a set of questions relating to the epistemology of literary studies: object, value, edition, reading, interpretation, research, objectivity vs subjectivity, diachrony vs synchrony, history, poetics, stylistics...

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The purpose of the course is to prepare students to carry out a scientific type of research.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Theoretical presentation of concepts and "gestures" related to research in literary studies; critical readings and discussions.
