A study of several questions concerning the descriptive grammar and sociolinguistics of contemporary Spanish in its peninsular variations.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit
An extensive understanding of the main phenomena of diatopic, diastratic and diaphasic variation in peninsular Spanish.
The development of the ability to analyze and identify these phenomena.
Linguistic skills in spoken Spanish equal to the C1 level of the CEFRL.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills
Level B2+ in Spanish.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Class meetings will concern essentially theoretical material, but they will often deal with practical matters, including active class discussion and group work on exercises.
Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)
Face to face.
Tis course will be taught in Spanish.
