Basic rules of editing - Transmission of texts - A sketch of the history of Egyptology - Bibliography : tools and methodology

Basic rules for editing a text - how to find bibliographical references on a given topic.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Students are required to submit every week a short written piece that demonstrate their ability to use the tools and methods presented during the last class.

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

15 hours
Room and schedule : to be fixed in concertation with the students. A written report is due for April. It consists in a preliminary bibliographical investigation in connection with the so-called "Travail de fin d'Études".

Recommended or required readings

The students receive a booklet with general bibliographical information on Egyptological topics.
