Learning unit contents

A 10-hour course divided into theory and interactive phases. 
1. Definitions (primary/secondary prevention) 2. Prevention or risk management? 3. Who does prevention?  4. Why do prevention? 5. Theoretical models of injury prevention (face-to-face group work) 6. Key elements of an optimal prevention strategy 7. Clinical vignettes in interactive mode.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Course designed to provide the theoretical basis for the topic of injury prevention in an athlete population.
