Learning unit contents
This course is conceived as an advanced seminar in the anthropology of development. After an introduction on the debates that the issue of development has aroused among anthropologists, we will develop three tools to analyse development programmes from a critical perspective. We will then study some of the recent dynamics of the development industry, to attempt understanding how they are negotiated locally.
