Topics of this postgraduate course are:

-) definition of welfare;
-) scientific measurements of welfare;
-) sociological aspects and economic costs of improving farm animal welfare;
-) legislations on farm animal welfare:
during the production cycles
during transport
in the slaughterhouse.
