Prerequisite or corequisite units are presented within each program

Learning unit contents

Some emerging and potentially emerging diseases in european wildlife will be presented according a classical scheme : aetiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical signs, lesions, diagnosis, treatment, prophylaxis and zoonotic impact. Practical works in necropsy room will be organised.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

The objective is to train the students to integrate their knowledge and knowhow to early detect and control an emerging disease occuring in wildlife in Europe

Prerequisite knowledge and skills

The courses of Bloc 3 of Bac and Bloc 1 of Master organised in the Departement of infectious and parasitic diseases are prerequisites

Mode of delivery (face to face, distance learning, hybrid learning)

The formation includes 8 hours of ex-cathedra lectures and 4 hours of practical course in the necropsy room
