Learning unit contents
According to his/her interests, the student will choose a place for the work placement on his/her own initiative, outside the University, allowing him/her to meet the players in nature management and conservation (site managers, administratives, associations for the protection of nature, research offices, etc.). The student is invited to participate in concrete activities also typical of the selected place, such as field work campaign, report writing, working meeting.

Assessment methods and criteria
Below you will find information on the evaluation methods planned for in-person and remote exams as well as those planned for hybrid sessions. Depending on how the health crisis evolves, the chosen method will be communicated to you no later than one month before the start of the exam session.

Additional information:
A maximum 4 pages report (Arial 12 pt, interligne 1.5) will be returned before the 1st of June (1st of September for the August-September session). It will give a description of the selected place (status, organization, financement), an non-exhaustive list of ongoing or past projects, a detailed report of the followed activities (including an activity calendar), an evaluation of the acquired experience (scientific, social, professional, etc.) and possibly a bibliographic list. The opinion of the training supervisor will be also sollicitated with a questionaire.

The work placement is not paid.
The work placement (titel, short description, coordinates of the training supervisor) will have to be validated by the master jury.
A standard agreement will have to be signed by the student, the University official and the training supervisor
