Learning unit contents

The main objective of the first part of the course is to introducing students with the particular specificities of political objects by using vocabulary, tools and methods to identify, name, classify and predict political events.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

Teaching should enable students to identify political event within the social environment.

The class is organized around the book "Fondements de Science politique" (Balzacq et al.). The following chapters make up the class material :

- Ideologies 
- Political regimes 
- Parliament and government
