Learning unit contents

Currently, the therapeutic approach seminars are the fruit of a collaboration between various professors of the sector and integrate the achievements of the different disciplines centered on the patient, and target the more pharmacotherapeutic and clinical aspects of the pharmacy practice.
They encourage you to follow a scientific approach to understand the difficulties related to the treatment of patients and to offer them personalized solutions and tailored advice.
In terms of pedagogy, it is a method derived from problem-based learning, developed by the group of teachers. They require you to participate actively.

Learning outcomes of the learning unit

At the end of the seminars, here is, for each macrocompetence, what should be acquired as long as you participate actively in the seminars:
Pharmaceutical expertise: To understand the pathologies and their degree of severity on the basis of the prescribed treatment Differentiate acute treatment from chronic treatment Design a response based on the patient's health literacy
Preparation and dispensing of drugs: Analyze and issue a simple prescription Identify the elements to be transmitted to the patient promoting adherence Check the patient's level of understanding of the indications provided to him / her
Health Council: Organize the treatment Make a medication plan
Communication: Collect health information from a patient Evaluate the patient's level of knowledge of his pathology Identify communication elements that promote adherence Clarify and support the doctor's words Provide relevant documentation to the patient Write a note to the pharmaceutical file Practice active listening and caring
Scientific procedure : Apply the pharmaceutical care approach Differentiate reliable and unreliable sources of information Resolve offsets or forgetfulness Sense of responsibility : Detect and prevent medication problems Identify and prevent factors hindering treatment adherence
