Learning unit contents
Introductory course to the concepts, methods and standard tools for setting up a quality approach leading to the integrated quality management model. The course also addresses the areas of risk management, human error and quality benchmarks for health services. The practical implementation of these concepts is also illustrated for radiotherapy via examples (dosimetric quality control)

Establish the conceptual bases justifying and underlying the implementation of a quality assurance program, with a particular focus on radiotherapy
